Round One ~ Chapter 4CHAPTER FOUR
I couldn't think straight anymore. The chaos in the room was too much. People began to suspect their partners. They began to hit other. The other tried to choke someone. One even picked up his partner and threw her into the direction of an other team, forgetting that he has handcuffs on his wrists. This isn't supposed to happen! We must escape form this hell! I want this to stop, please, stop hurting each other!
As if they could read my thoughts, they stopped. Just like that, they stopped everything they were doing. Finally, some peace.
"What. The hell. Is THAT?"
The socked face of the woman in the cucumber green dress looked into my direction, no that's not right, she's looking at something behind me. I turn around, now facing the gigantic TV screen, which had blood red digits on it. The numbers 11:56:03, no wait, :01, no the numbers are counting down!
"It seems we are given a time limit." A voice of a young man pointed out. Of course, why not? Just another p

Round One ~ Chapter 3CHAPTER THREE
"Murasaki!" I reach out my hand, hoping they still can catch on. But it's too late. The twins fall with a huge splash into the electrified water. It's the end, the end of the twins, and they are so young! I kneel on the ground and look beneath me. I don't mind that it is this hot anymore, two people died just now, and I couldn't do anything.
"Look." Yuki whispered and pointed towards the water. I don't want to look, I can't even bare to stand up at this moment. I can't think strait. Why are we here? What is the purpose of this room and how could the boiler explode?
"Look!" Yuki said again, but louder. Instead of pointing she grabbed me by the neck like a mother cat and let me see the thing that is impossible. The two are swimming towards the ladder underneath us!
"But, how?" I ask. "Why are they still alive, the water was electrified just now!"
"The cable." Yuki answered and I looked at it. It wasn't in the water anymore; instead it lies on the floor. That means th

"Yuki, where are we going?"
"But I can't see anything, are you sure this is the right way?"
I still can't believe her. We've been walking here for at least five minutes already.
"Stop." I hear and I do what I'm told. It's quiet. What is the point of stopping when you can't see anything? I wait, and after a short while I hear footsteps. There is someone, or something, coming towards us! I squeeze in Yuki her hand, scared of what might come. It's coming closer, and closer.
"Yuki," I whisper. "What is that?"
"People." she answers back. More people? Who could it be? Maybe that guy Neo is searching for us! I know he is!
A light is shining on the wall, so he has a light with him! He is one step away to finding us. I turn around and want to run, away from the light. I hear a thud and see myself lying on the ground.
"Did you hear that just now?" I hear the voice of a young girl saying.
"Lets find out." I hear people running, running towards us. We mu
Round One ~ Chapter 1CHAPTER ONE
"Who are you?" It was the only thing I could ask at this moment. I was looking at the girl who was sitting on me, crushing my stomach.
"Oh good, you are awake." She answered with a monotone voice, but still it was kind of cute.
"C- could you please get off of me?"
"Then will you?"
The girl got off my stomach and sat next to me, showing some handcuffs that were on both our wrists. Why am I being handcuffed to a girl I don't even know? And why are we here?
"So? Who are you and why are we handcuffed?"
" " No answer. I looked around in the room. There are two doors, a red one and a green one, a toilet, a sink, a little cabinet and only a single bed. It isn't what you call a room you would like to wake up in with a girl. Don't tell me she
"My name is Yuki, when I woke up I saw you lying next to me. I tried to wake you so I sat on you."
The same tone again!
"I only tried to help you, I'm so~ sorry."
"But where are we?" I asked, trying to ignore the
All Here For A ReasonI turned onto a shady, well-manicured driveway that, for all intents and purposes, looked harmless enough. Maple trees lined both sides of the street, and a parade of Canadian geese marched across the road to a wide duck pond with a flamboyant fountain. There were blooming crepe myrtles and rose-of-sharons, and as I grew closer to my destination, neatly trimmed gardens with neatly trimmed bushes.
I stopped to let the geese pass. They looked at me; one hissed. I honked my horn and moved around them.
At the end of the road sat a collection of grayish buildings and a number of signs directing me to the appropriate parking lot. "Welcome to Ten Creeks Hospital," said one of them. "Please enjoy your stay." I parked in the visitor's lot. Surely I wouldn't be staying.
I was shaking when I got out of my car. I had spent the morning getting high. One foot in front of the other, flip-flop noises, hot sidewalk. Mulberry and magnolia trees, freshly shaved grass. A bench and pan for smokers. A set o
